How we help

Before the visit

We can help shortlist relevant fairs, map supplier targets, prepare product questions, clarify MOQ and sample requirements, and plan which suppliers or factories are worth visiting. This saves time before you arrive and helps avoid spending days speaking to suppliers that are not a serious fit.

During supplier contact

During supplier contact, we help keep the discussion focused on product specifications, pricing structure, sample timing, packaging, compliance questions, production capability and next steps. The aim is to leave each meeting with useful information, not vague promises.

After the meeting

After the meeting, we can help organise supplier follow-up, compare options, request samples, clarify pricing, check product details and connect the next step with purchasing support, quality control or freight planning where needed.

Who trade show and factory visit support is for

This service is for business owners and importers visiting China or Hong Kong to meet suppliers, compare factories, source new product ranges or improve an existing supply chain.

Major trade shows we can help around

Canton Fair, Guangzhou: China’s major general trade fair, normally held twice a year in spring and autumn across three phases. The spring fair usually runs around mid-April to early May, and the autumn fair usually runs around mid-October to early November. Different phases cover electronics, machinery, home products, gifts, consumer goods, textiles and more.

Global Sources Hong Kong: usually held at AsiaWorld-Expo in the April and October sourcing seasons, with shows commonly covering consumer electronics, mobile electronics, smart home, lifestyle, fashion, gifts and related product categories.

HKTDC Hong Kong trade fairs: these include Hong Kong Electronics Fair, Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Hong Kong Houseware/Home InStyle, Hong Kong International Lighting Fair, Toys & Games Fair, Baby Products Fair, Watch & Clock Fair and other category-specific shows. Many run in January, April and October depending on the product category.

Yiwu Market and Yiwu fairs: useful for small goods, general merchandise, accessories, packaging, promotional products and lower-MOQ product discovery.

Shenzhen and South China shows: useful for electronics, hardware, packaging, machinery, components, eCommerce products and supplier visits around the Pearl River Delta.

Dates and show categories change each year, so we recommend checking the official organiser schedule before booking travel. We can help you work out which fair or supplier visit is actually relevant, then connect show follow-up with purchasing support, quality control or freight where needed.

Trade show and factory visit FAQs

It depends on the product. Canton Fair is broad and useful for many categories, while Global Sources and HKTDC shows in Hong Kong can be stronger for electronics, gifts, home, lifestyle, lighting, toys, baby products and category-specific sourcing. Yiwu is useful for small goods and general merchandise. Shenzhen is useful for electronics, hardware and product development supply chains.

The biggest sourcing windows are usually April and October. Canton Fair is normally held in spring and autumn across three phases. Global Sources and many HKTDC shows also cluster around April and October, while some categories, such as toys and baby products, are commonly early in the year. Always confirm dates with the official organiser before booking travel.
