If it is unsuitable, compare LCL sea freight for larger goods or express courier for urgent parcels. The smallest shipment is not always cheapest by sea because minimum charges can apply.

Wait until we confirm the warehouse address and service before your supplier sends the cartons. The warehouse checks the goods and packing, then groups suitable cartons for sea shipping.
Agree who provides the import paperwork and handles customs at the destination. Shipping with other cartons does not remove the customs, product or packaging rules that apply to your goods.

Ask when your cartons need to reach the warehouse in China, when the shipment is expected to leave, and when the goods should be ready for collection or delivery. The estimate needs to allow for grouping shipments, sea transport and checks after arrival.
Compare the total quote for the same cartons and delivery address. Check the minimum charge and whether customs-related charges, local handling and delivery are included. Tell us about restricted goods or unusual packing before your supplier sends the cartons.

Shipping under 50kg? A US$15 administration fee applies if you are not sourcing through Prestige Sourcing. This applies to all shipping methods.
For most shipments under 100kg, you or your supplier will need to arrange delivery to the nominated warehouse in China. Pickup depends on the supplier’s location; check with us before sending the goods.

Is international sea parcel available everywhere?
No. Availability is checked for the destination and cargo. Send your country, postcode and carton details so we can check the available routes.
Do the NZ parcel size guidelines apply overseas?
No. Carton limits, prices and delivery options can differ by destination. Ask us to check the service for your goods and delivery address before sending them.
Can I book sea parcel for pallets?
Send the size and weight of the packed pallet so we can check. LCL sea freight may be more suitable for pallets or goods needing different handling.
What happens if no suitable sea-parcel route exists?
We can compare LCL shared-container freight or, for small urgent parcels, courier. Each option needs its own check of the goods, packing, destination and price.
What does the delivery estimate include?
Ask where the journey starts and ends, and whether the estimate includes customs checks and local delivery. The dates depend on your route and the services included in your quote.
What do you need for a quote?
Start with your name, email, destination country and city, and what you are shipping. If known, add the packed size and weight, supplier’s location, date the goods will be ready and the receiver’s details.
Does the under-50kg administration fee apply?
A US$15 administration fee applies under 50kg if you are not sourcing through Prestige Sourcing, across all methods. Send your goods details so we can check the available service.
