Sea Freight (LCL & FCL)
Sea freight is usually the most economical option for larger or heavier cargo shipped from China.
- For large or heavy goods; we explain any minimum charge for shared container space
- We compare sea and air freight on total cost and timing
- We confirm the sailing and expected delivery dates for your shipment
- We can help bring orders from several suppliers together
Full container shipping (FCL) gives your goods their own container. LCL sea freight shares a container with other shipments. Send us your shipment details and we will compare the total cost, including handling in China, arrival charges and delivery.
Air Freight
Air freight suits time-sensitive shipments or higher-value goods that require faster delivery. Options include airport-to-airport and door-to-door services, depending on your shipment and destination.
- We confirm the expected delivery time for your chosen service
- Suitable for urgent stock orders and product samples
- Can be more flexible than sea freight for medium-sized orders
- Delivery to your address depends on the available local service
- Higher cost compared to sea freight
Sea Parcel Service
Sea Parcel can suit smaller cartons that are not urgent, where the service is available. Send the destination and each carton’s size and weight so we can check the limits, minimum charge and delivery options before you ship.
- Ideal for smaller or infrequent shipments
- For smaller cartons when saving money matters more than speed
- Address delivery may be available depending on destination.
- Takes longer than shipping by air
- Suitable for cartons and standard packaged goods
Express Courier
Express courier suits very small, urgent shipments such as samples, documents, spare parts or low-volume parcels. These services use international courier networks such as DHL, FedEx, UPS and EMS, typically travelling by air.
- We confirm the expected delivery time for your chosen service
- Suitable for urgent stock orders, samples and documents
- Delivery through the selected courier network
- Collection or drop-off arrangements confirmed before shipping
- Usually the highest cost per kg

Destination requirements and freight FAQs
Can I ship less than 50kg?
Send your goods details so we can check a suitable service. A 15 USD administration fee applies to shipments under 50kg if you are not sourcing through Prestige Sourcing. The fee applies to all shipping methods.
Which freight method should I choose?
The right option depends on your shipment’s size, destination and urgency. Sea freight offers LCL for shared container space and FCL for a full container. Air freight and express courier are options for more urgent shipments. Tell us what you’re shipping so we can discuss the options.
Can you arrange door-to-door freight?
Door-to-door arrangements can include collection from your supplier and delivery to your destination. The freight method and delivery arrangements depend on your shipment. Send us your supplier location and destination. We will explain the available collection, customs and delivery services, including who pays duties and taxes.
Can you combine goods from several suppliers?
Tell us each supplier’s location and what you are buying. We can check whether the goods can be brought together in China for one shipment and how they will reach the warehouse.
What do you need to prepare a freight quote?
Start with your name, email, destination and the type of goods. If available, include the collection city, quantity, weight, packed dimensions and purchase terms. A packing list or supplier documents can help us assess your shipment.
How do you help me prepare for shipping?
Send us your goods details and destination. We coordinate with the relevant clearance agent for the destination and confirm what importer information or documents are required for the shipment. We explain who will be named as the importer and who pays import charges. We work with the destination agent to clarify product approvals and packaging requirements.
For New Zealand or Australia, read the NZ customs and delivery overview or Australian import overview. For another country, tell us the destination so we can discuss the appropriate customs arrangements before shipping.
Who is responsible for the information declared to Customs?
We coordinate the customs-clearance process with the relevant clearance agent for the destination and let you know what information is required. You are responsible for making sure the factual information you or your supplier provide about the goods is accurate and complete, including the product description, quantity, value, contents/materials and any supporting documents. We’ll flag obvious issues where we can, but we can’t verify information that has not been disclosed or has been provided incorrectly. Customs or other authorities may also request supporting evidence or inspect the shipment.
