FCL Sea Freight from China to Worldwide Destinations
Dedicated containers
from China
Full container shipping, or FCL, gives your goods their own container from China to the agreed destination. It can suit larger orders when sharing a container would be less practical or cost more overall. Tell us what you are shipping and where it needs to go so we can check container size, shipping routes and delivery arrangements.
- Your goods in their own container
- Arrival port and delivery arrangements checked
- Loading, unloading and empty-container return planned

Is FCL shipping right for you?
FCL means Full Container Load: you book a container for your shipment rather than sharing it with other importers. Your goods do not have to fill every part of the container. We compare their packed size, weight and handling needs with the cost of sharing a container.
For destination details, see full container shipping to New Zealand or full container shipping to Australia. For smaller loads, compare LCL sea freight, or view all international freight options.

Delivery options
Start with the delivery country and address. Tell us whether the receiving site can accept and unload a container. We coordinate with the relevant customs-clearance agent for the destination and confirm what importer information or documents are required before arrival. A price for shipping to a port does not automatically include delivery inland.
We clarify where the empty container will be returned and the time allowed for unloading. Our door-to-door freight service can help coordinate that delivery. We will flag the destination requirements that affect the booking and tell you what information or documents are needed for clearance.

Delivery and container return
Tell us whether the container will be loaded at your supplier’s site or another agreed location in China. If goods come from several suppliers, send each supplier’s location, packing details and expected ready date so we can plan loading.
We coordinate with the relevant clearance agent for the destination and confirm what importer information or documents are required for the shipment. We coordinate transport from the port, unloading and empty-container return as agreed in your quote.
Shipping time
and costs
Shipping time depends on the destination, sailing and any transfer between ships. Customs checks, container availability and delivery appointments can also affect the dates. Tell us where you need the goods and we will estimate the journey to that point.
We explain the full quote, including port handling and local transport, and clarify who pays inspections, storage, waiting time or late container-return charges. These may be separate from the sea-freight price.

Receiving your container overseas
Tell us whether you want the container shipped to a terminal, depot or your address. Inland transport, customs clearance and unloading need to be included in the plan; they are not automatically part of a port-only price.
Door-to-door freight can help coordinate delivery beyond the port. If you prefer to receive cartons or pallets after a shared container is unpacked, compare LCL sea freight.
Plan your international
FCL shipment
Tell us what you are shipping and your destination country and city. Start with what you know — you do not need supplier details, packed dimensions, weight or purchase terms to enquire. Prestige will help with the rest.
If known, add supplier or loading location, shipment size and any access or unloading needs. We will help work through the container and receiving arrangements.
- Not sure which method fits? We can help.
- Multiple suppliers? Tell us about your goods.
- Packing list ready? Add it to your enquiry.

International FCL FAQs
Is FCL available to every country and address?
Send the destination country, full address and cargo details. We will check the route, container equipment and receiving arrangements before confirming the booking.
Can you quote delivery beyond the port?
Send your goods details and delivery address. We will check onward transport and explain customs, port handling and local delivery in your quote. A port-only price ends at the port, so we help you understand the cost of the remaining journey.
Who manages container return overseas?
We clarify who unloads and returns the container, the time allowed and who pays if unloading or return is delayed. The available arrangements depend on the service at your destination.
What container requirements apply overseas?
Requirements depend on the destination. Tell us where your container is going and we will help clarify import, packaging and container-release arrangements. Our NZ and Australian pages cover those countries; another destination has its own rules.
What does the delivery estimate include?
We explain the starting and finishing points of your estimate, including the agreed customs and local delivery stages. Dates depend on your route and the services included in your quote.
What do you need for a quote?
Start with your name, email, destination country and city, and what you are shipping. If known, add the packed size and weight, supplier’s location, date the goods will be ready and the receiver’s details.
Where can I check the import requirements?
We coordinate customs clearance with the relevant destination clearance agent and tell you what information is needed. You are responsible for supplying accurate and complete factual information about the goods, including the description, quantity, value, contents/materials and supporting documents. We flag obvious issues where we can, but cannot verify undisclosed or incorrect information. Customs or other authorities may request evidence or inspect the shipment.
Our international customs and shipping guide provides supporting information about import and delivery requirements.
