China trade shows 2026 may be worth considering if your business is looking for new suppliers, private label products, manufacturing options or a clearer view of what is available in the market. Prestige Sourcing is now taking expressions of interest from businesses that may want to join us at selected events in China and Hong Kong during the remainder of 2026.
If you cannot attend in person, we also offer a paid service where our Shenzhen-based team can attend a relevant trade show on your behalf. We can work from your sourcing brief, investigate suitable suppliers and products, ask initial questions and provide an organised report for your business.
China trade shows 2026 that buyers may consider
Several major sourcing events are scheduled for South China and Hong Kong during the October and early November buying season. The correct event depends on your product category, required order size and what you are trying to achieve.
Canton Fair in Guangzhou
The official Canton Fair website provides schedules, registration information and product categories for the China Import and Export Fair in Guangzhou.
The autumn fair runs across three phases from mid-October to early November. Different phases cover different categories, including electronics, machinery, building products, household goods, gifts, consumer products, textiles and other commercial goods.
Attending the wrong phase can waste several days. Before booking travel, check which phase contains the products and supplier types relevant to your business.
For practical preparation, accompanied attendance, buyer representation and supplier follow-up, see our Canton Fair tours and sourcing support.
Global Sources Hong Kong Shows
The official Global Sources Hong Kong Shows website is currently promoting its October 2026 events at AsiaWorld-Expo.
These shows commonly cover categories such as consumer electronics, mobile electronics, smart home products, security products, appliances, gifts, home products and lifestyle goods. The organiser currently lists an October phase from 11–14 October, with further category events later in the month.
HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair
The official HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair website lists the Autumn Edition for 13–16 October 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This event is relevant to buyers researching electronics, technology products, components, smart products and related categories. HKTDC also runs other category-specific events throughout the year, so the electronics fair will not suit every sourcing brief.
Interested in joining Prestige Sourcing?
Businesses interested in attending a 2026 trade show with Prestige Sourcing can register their interest now. This does not mean joining a generic organised tour. The aim is to support serious buyers who have a defined product category, supplier requirement or sourcing objective.
Our China trade show and factory visit support can help before, during and after the event.
Support may include:
- Reviewing which fair and phase best fits your product category.
- Preparing a supplier and product brief before arrival.
- Planning which halls or exhibitors deserve priority.
- Preparing questions about MOQ, pricing, samples and packaging.
- Helping communicate with suppliers during meetings.
- Organising supplier notes and follow-up after the show.
- Coordinating supplier or factory visits around the same trip.
Prestige Sourcing is New Zealand-owned and based in Shenzhen. This gives overseas buyers access to practical China-side support without relying entirely on an exhibitor’s sales presentation.
Cannot attend? We can go on your behalf
International travel is not always commercially sensible. Flights, accommodation and time away from the business can make a sourcing trip expensive, particularly when you only need information from one product category.
Prestige Sourcing offers a paid trade show research service for businesses that need someone to attend on their behalf.
We do not simply walk the exhibition collecting random catalogues. Before the event, we agree on a brief covering the products, specifications, target price range, order volume and supplier requirements that matter to you.
Depending on the agreed scope, we can:
- Visit the most relevant halls and supplier booths.
- Look for specific products, materials or manufacturing options.
- Collect supplier contact information and product literature.
- Take product and booth photographs where permitted.
- Ask about minimum order quantities and indicative pricing.
- Ask about samples, private label options and packaging.
- Discuss estimated production lead times.
- Record obvious concerns or unanswered questions.
- Prepare a practical supplier and product report.
The report is intended to help you decide which leads deserve further work. It does not mean every exhibitor is verified or suitable.
A trade show booth does not verify a supplier
A professional exhibition booth does not prove that the exhibitor owns a factory or manufactures every product on display. The business may be a factory, trading company, distributor, brand owner or a combination of these.
That is not automatically a problem. However, you need to understand who will receive your money, who will make the goods and who is responsible when something goes wrong.
Before paying a deposit, a promising trade show lead may still require:
- Company and business registration checks.
- Confirmation of the contracting company and bank account.
- Sample evaluation.
- Factory or supplier visits.
- Written product specifications.
- Packaging and carton confirmation.
- Product compliance review for the destination market.
After the event, our China sourcing support can help compare suppliers and investigate the better options. If you already have a chosen supplier, our China purchasing support can assist with samples, order details and supplier follow-up.
What we need from your sourcing brief
A clear brief produces a much better result than a broad request to find a popular product. Before attending on your behalf, we may ask for:
- Reference photographs, drawings or product links.
- Your target country and intended sales channel.
- Required specifications, materials, sizes or features.
- Expected order quantity and budget.
- Target buying price or landed cost.
- Private label and packaging requirements.
- Any certifications or test reports that may be required.
- Supplier types or product features you want to avoid.
For online sellers and branded products, our eCommerce and private label support can also help coordinate labels, packaging, bundling and shipment preparation after a product is selected.
Plan for samples, quality control and freight
A trade show display sample may not represent normal mass production. Before approving a larger order, buyers should confirm specifications in writing, review samples and decide how the production order will be checked.
Our China quality control service can help arrange practical product, packaging and pre-shipment checks before goods leave China. No inspection can guarantee that every possible issue will be found, but it can reveal visible defects, packaging problems and obvious order mismatches before freight costs are committed.
Freight also needs to be considered before choosing a product. Large cartons, low carton quantities, fragile packaging, batteries or dangerous-goods restrictions can materially change the landed cost.
Use our freight volume calculator to estimate cubic metres and volumetric weight. When purchasing from several suppliers, warehousing and consolidation in China may help combine goods into a more organised shipment.
See our trade show and sourcing work
Our China sourcing and freight gallery includes photographs from trade shows, factories, supplier visits, wholesale markets, warehouses, product inspections and logistics centres across mainland China and Hong Kong.
These environments show the practical work that takes place after the initial supplier introduction. Finding a supplier is only the start. The commercial result depends on checking details, comparing options and following the order through properly.
